experience of trekking, tours, mountain biking and white water
rafting real and worth while for every single moment. Over the
years we have achieved a great deal of experience of operating
trekking and white water rafting, right from the gusty-flowing
rivers of the lofty Khangchendzonga. We provide the best
arrangement for trekking backed up by the team of highly trained
and experienced Sherpa guides and kitchen crew, "who all have
led many trekking groups to their credit of the successful
operations". All the equipments we use on the trek are imported
from the European countries and of best available quality. Our
high quality and reliable services has reached its height, even
up to the base of Mt. Khangchendzonga, the third highest peak in

1994 with running Hotels and Resorts in Lachung, North Sikkim.

yourself need to be a traveller first to know what makes a
holiday the most memorable ", and he definitely is. That's why
he has been ardently involved in tourism for more than a decade.
Also vociferous about promoting responsible travel in
Sikkim, Darjeeling, Bhutan and Nepal . His contribution to
Sikkim tourism particularly is indeed laudable , be it as
executive member of the "Travel Agents Association of Sikkim " ,
or simply as resource person in various tourism orientation
programmes.
A well known figure in Travel Trade circle, he is known not
to miss any of the major travel trade fairs in India and abroad
promoting Sikkim and the Himalayas around extensively.

General Manager (Hospitality) wife of Karma Tashi Bhutia has been very actively involved in the Tourism & Hospitality sector along with her husband since inception of Marcopolo World Travels. She looks after the operation of Marcopolo World Travels along with Snowlion Mt. Resort in Lachung.
She has single handed managed Marcopolo from 1996- 1998 when her husband was away establishing Regional office & handling marketing.
Her hard work and contribution has been phenomenal in the making of The Royal Demazong (3 star Mountain Resort) |

T.D. Lachenpa/Tega General Manager (Specilised Treks/Expeditions)
Born in Lachen, North Sikkim and a graduate of Delhi University.
He is known for his knowledge in the Geography of Sikkim and
Buddhism. He was in Switzerland for high altitude
hospitality business. He has successfully accented
Brungkhangtse East and Chombu in North Sikkim. He has
received an A grade certificate from Himalayan Mountain
Institute in the field of mountaineering and Adventure.

was established, he has been the backbone of this
company. He is a specialist in trekking and has covered
almost most parts of West and North Sikkim. Flavio a
